The Volvo Full Electric Lineup

Meet the New Volvo Electric Cars
There are currently three all-electric Volvo automobiles available for purchase by the public. The Volvo EX30 and Volvo EX90 are the newest additions to the company's electric stable. The Volvo XC40 Recharge has now become the Volvo EX40, a compact luxury SUV that provides muscular horsepower without requiring a single drop of gasoline.
Please contact us to schedule an in-person look at our Volvo electric and plug-in hybrid options and see which one fits your style.

Volvo EX30
The Volvo EX30 is the smallest option in the Volvo EV lineup; this subcompact luxury SUV punches above its weight class, however. It comes standard with the Twin Motor Performance powertrain, which produces 422 horsepower and a 3.4-second 0-60 mph time. You can choose the Plus or Ultra trim for a new Volvo EX30.
Either way, this SUV comes standard with a panoramic roof, a 12.3-inch center display, front and rear USB-C ports, and numerous advanced safety features, including Collision Mitigation Support and Intelligent Speed Assist. See how the Volvo brand stays one step ahead of the automotive industry by testing out these amenities in person at our dealership today.

Volvo EX90
The Volvo EX90 is on the opposite end of the spectrum from the Volvo EX30 as one of the largest Volvo models on the market today. Like the Volvo EX30, it is available in the Plus and Ultra trim levels. Unlike its subcompact cousin, however, this three-row luxury electric SUV can be had with two powertrains: Twin Motor and Twin Motor Performance.
Just like the Volvo EX40, a Volvo EX90 Twin Motor enjoys 402 horsepower. If you opt for the Twin Motor Performance setup, however, you'll unlock new heights of capability: This choice provides you with 510 horsepower. The 4.7-second 0-60 mph acceleration time of the new Volvo EX90 is thrilling, to say the least.

Volvo XC60 Plug-In Hybrid
So far, we've been discussing all-electric vehicles, but the Volvo collection does include automobiles that still use some gasoline. Two popular choices are the Volvo XC60 Plug-In Hybrid and the Volvo XC90 Plug-In Hybrid. The former is a two-row luxury SUV that comes with the T8 AWD powertrain, pairing a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an 18.8-kWh battery-and-motor system, which combines to output 455 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque.
The Volvo XC60 PHEV is an enticing family automobile. It has two rows of spacious seating, helps you save at the gas pump with its incredible fuel efficiency, and has all of the luxuries that will keep you and your loved ones comfortable on long drives. Upgrade your journeys with available features and stylish elements like Pilot Assist, a Head-Up Display, or Polestar Engineered forged alloy wheels.

Volvo XC90 Plug-In Hybrid
The Volvo XC90 PHEV is a three-row luxury plug-in hybrid SUV. With seating for as many as seven people, it's a compelling option for growing families. The vehicle uses the same T8 AWD powertrain described above; this setup will see the Volvo XC90 PHEV leap from 0-60 mph in just five seconds. It does not, however, give up luxury in the name of performance.
Every new Volvo XC90 PHEV sports wireless charging, a four-zone climate control system, heated front seats, and a gear shift selector made of genuine crystal. This dazzling touch adds a layer of elegance to your new SUV's cabin that is unmatched by its rivals.
Find A Charging Station
There are several options when it comes to finding Volvo electric charging stations to refill your new Volvo electric car. Our team here at Volvo Cars Wesley Chapel can point you in the right direction to have a home charger installed. An AC fast charging wallbox is usually the quickest method to power up your pure electric vehicle at home – these allow you to recharge your car's battery overnight or much more quickly if you only ran a few errands on a given day.
You can also access an ever-growing network of public DC charging stations. These powerful chargers will generally refill your battery from 10% to 80% in less than an hour. The Volvo EX40, for example, can go from 10% to 80% in just 28 minutes.1 Between this capability and its maximum EPA-estimated range of 296 miles on a single charge,2 this Volvo electric car is a superb option for those who long to travel far and wide with zero-tailpipe emissions.
The team here at our dealership is excited to help you get into a new Volvo model. If an all-electric SUV is not right for you, consider one of the above PHEV iterations, a mild-hybrid Volvo XC40, or another compelling gasoline-powered model. Please contact us today to schedule a test drive or discuss the published Volvo electric car range estimates.

Frequently Asked Questions
As of this writing in March 2025, Volvo electric vehicles do not qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. As Volvo Cars shifts additional production to the United States, this may change. You may also be eligible for local and state tax credits when you purchase or lease an electric Volvo SUV. Please reach out to a tax professional to learn more.
While Volvo Cars is moving toward an all-electric future, the company's lineup still includes gasoline-fed vehicles. Every car that the Volvo brand produces is a hybrid or all-electric automobile of some kind. It's fair to say that all new Volvo cars are electrified but not all-electric. Drop by our showroom today to learn about hybrid vs. EVs if you're on the fence.
You can charge a Volvo EV in several ways. Publicly available DC fast chargers are the speediest method; they can typically take your electric car from a 10% to 80% charge in less than an hour.1 You can also use AC-current chargers, either at home or on the go. Our specialists at Volvo Cars Wesley Chapel can give you more details on the charging process when you visit.
The answer to this question depends on the model and powertrain. The Volvo EX90 Twin Motor Performance, for example, can travel up to an EPA-estimated 310 miles on one charge,3 which is great for those who travel long distances frequently. If that's not a deciding factor for you, the Volvo EX40 Single Motor Extended range may be a better fit, scoring an EPA estimate of 296 miles.2
